Hello everyone! My name is Kimberly Seldomridge and I am super excited to show you my project! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! Don't forget to wish Linda a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today.  I am going to share with you my Welcome Banner I made with the pocket shapes.

I LOVED the shapes and the possibilities are truly endless. They are so cute and versatile. I think they could be all kinds of things like houses or arrows but I chose little pockets.

I used gesso on the shapes first so I could stiffen them up a bit and the color I added would be more vivid. It worked like a charm.  I backed the shapes with fun colorful paper and added flowers, embellishments twine and lace to tie it all together.

I
I used paper on the back and only sealed the sides and bottoms so I could tuck little flowers and things inside. Please go check out the store and look around at all the fun naked shapes and all the endless fun you could have!
Here's a little game you can play too!
There is MUCH more inspiration to be seen on the Linnie Blooms Facebook Page and Blog!
Thanks for visiting and stop back by to see what the other amazing designers have in store!

Some recent projects I've done and forgot to blog!

The lotus flower one is a favorite of mine.

I have lots more projects to photograph and get on here. I hope we move soon. I miss my stuff. It's hard to craft and create with the same supplies. :)

Sisters Layout

Hello and happy crafty Thursday! Today I did a layout of my girls. It has been a while since I've actually just worked on a layout. I thought I would struggle but not with this set. Oh my It's gorgeous!

KaiserCraft has outdone themselves with this one. This set is Fine & Sunny and the papers are beautiful! I will be doing more with this set next week for sure.
The Prima flowers look so cute with it too. The orange is perfect. I added some twine and a scalloped card.
I just love this picture. <3
I used distress ink in brushed corduroy around some of the edges to put a contrast. I used a piece of white board as my background. I think it makes the yellow patterned paper pop. I punched the clouds with the orange paper with the kit. I just love it.
Don't forget to get your grab bag from the YMH store. Oh the goodies in there are amazing. Kristina never disappoints. :)
Hope you have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

Pink Paislee Mini for YMH

I love seeing all the Pink Paislee Declaration on the YMH blog! I love it. Here's my take..a mini!

I cut the paper in half and then scored at 6 inches on each side of all the different patters. This really helps when you fold your papers.
Then I glued all my papers back to back to form this book. I still get ALL the patterns which I love all together.
I inked all the edges after I assembled the book. I used Distress Ink in faded blue jeans and it looks sooo good.
These bright red Prima flowers worked great. I added buttons from my stash. The white lace on top of the pom pom trim is Prima too. I love how the Prima Bling adds a sort of fireworks affect.
I also used the Distress Ink over a star stencil on the cover.
Even after making this mini I have tons of paper and embellishments to play with.
Don't forget to check out the YMH store page for the Prima Grab Bags packed full of beautiful goodness straight from the new releases! I assure you that you won't be disappointed!
I hope you all are having a wonderful summer. It's been miserably hot but the kids don't seem to mind. King's Island in a couple weeks! Then school starts real soon. I bet I'm more happy about that than the girls are. ;)
See ya next week!

You are my Sunshine

It helps me to every once in awhile to take a break and play. I have been up to my arm pits on projects for clients this past month, which is great but a break was well needed. So, I played in some paint. It makes me happy. :)

It's ok to take a break and get back to what you love. For me, it's paint and canvas. Although my first true love is paper and stickers. lol I hope you have a fabulous day.
